Canada.

When I leave university I plan on making a a massive trip to a couple different countries but one of the ones that I am most excited for is Canada. I’m going to go with some of my rodeo friends. I am going to go over there and go to some of Canada’s rodeos because I have always wondered how their country runs them. And maybe this is only a possibility that I might compete in my event. But it’s mostly just to see the scenery and have the experience. Before I decided that it was a dream to go to a few different countries I thought maybe I could do it by myself but then I realized that I love the company of others and would enjoy my time over there a lot more if I go with some of my best friends. One of my best friends that also want to travel just the same as me is Pyper. I reckon visiting different countries teaches you a lot about life and being independent and in those areas you can only learn so much in at school.

Pludging My Way Through

Plugging my way through the mud, pulling my gumboots to my chest – I look down and see the reflection of my red jacket. Sticks crunch underneath my feet sends a shiver down my spine. A sensational smell of the black burnt wood runs up my nose. My legs brush ferns as I slowly walked past the forest that was still there. I can feel tiny ice flakes as I run my hands through my hair. I feel anxious that the creatures in front of me are going to jump out and give me a fright. Why were they so creepy?

Christmas Celebrations

Christmas is a very important time for my family. It’s a time for my family to come together, be happy and eat a lot of food. Christmas time is so fun in my family but opening presents is my favorite part, because it’s so fun and I get so many things ticked off my Christmas gift list. I love Christmas because not only do I get to open my presents and spend time with my family. I get to go on the Christmas rodeo circuit and we are camping out in our float for ten days. But then we always celebrate New Years eve with our friends that live in Wanaka. Christmas is also very important to me because it’s the one time that my family whole family can come together and everything is great with no dramas.

Chloe´s Hybrid Animal

The Gbra is a imaginative animal that´s mixed between a Zebra and a Giraffe. They have short stubby legs striped with white and black, an overgrown neck , a very long tail that is orangey red shapes outlined with white. The Gbra is native to the Russia bush and has a very out there diet of lots of grass and as many fruits, berries and salmon whenever they can find some. The Gbra loves to gallop around, have very long sleeps and warning ya they chew so loud it is kinda disgusting.

Fun Facts

  • They can sleep up to 24 hours.
  • When they are babies they can eat up to double their body weight.
  • When it is raining they stay under shelter from the trees.
  • They make a weird horn sound.
  • They are in groups of hundreds.
  • When they are adults they can eat up to triple their body weight.
  • They also love willow and ferns.
  • Plus they are very wild but love people.

Carrie Underwood By Chloe

I have decided to do facts and information about Carrie Underwood because she has written and sung some of my favorite songs. Most people that listen to a lot of country music will know a bit about her but if you don´t then you are about to.

Her full name is Carrie Marie Underwood, She was born on March 10th 1983 and is now 36. She has two older sisters Shanna and Stephanie and is happily married to Mike Fisher with two children. Her first child was born in 2005 this was a very important year and in 2018 she announced that her second baby boy was on the way. Like I said earlier 2005 was a big year you Carrie because she also won the 4 annual american idol and her first album the summer hearts album was released in fact almost  straight after she one the american idol. The Summer Hearts album was a massive booster to her career selling over 7 million copies.

Carrie Underwood is a massive inspiration to me and it would be a dream come true to hopefully meet her one day.

Oamaru Intermediate School Grounds

My school grounds are quite big, lots of buildings and places to explore and play. The fields is the biggest playing area and lots of kids hang out and play on it.  The field has very green grass that is always short and trimmed nicely. There are two courts on my school grounds and all the hoops are in very good condition. There is probably one very popular places in my school and that is the canteen. The canteen is very popular because it sells very nice food for not that much money and on a cold day it’s very nice to have a fresh cooked pie and on a hot day it’s always good to have a good old cold jucie or a moosie. The hall is an indoor court but it is where we also have assembly every Thursday. In my opinion I am a very proud year 7 and very appreciative that I go to such a nice beautiful school. I would present my school to just about anyone in this whole entire world.

Sudden Take Off

Can I do this? Mum, Dad, Ryan, me buckle up our seats. I’m trembling my hands are shaking. I am EXTREMELY nervous. A man comes around to do seat checks. I freeze and don’t move again until he turns his back and walks away. Over a loud speaker, a man warns us that take off will be very soon. Suddenly it jerks me forward and we are off. I feel a hard pound in my chest. I’m so terrified I start sweating and the adrenaline starts to kick in. A quick scream and I feel better. Finally!! starting to enjoy it but it was still so extreme. We were going up, up, up then we get to the top of the metal train tracks, but then we drop down, down, down. Around the bends and curve’s. I feel sick to my stomach. It’s roasting hot I feel like I’m about to drop dead. Finally we go up and around the last few curve’s and over a massive bump that makes me feel like I’m going to fall out. We start to slow down as we pull into the unloading tunnel, where we take off our seat belts as the next lot of people are loaded. Me and mum talk. She asked me how the ride went even though she went with me??. I explained to her that “it was fun but super terrifying and I was sweating and shaking the whole time” Mum was very happy that I enjoyed it but understood that it was very scary. Mum also asked “would you ever do it again”?? I replied “no, not anytime soon” But my brother had other ideas about the big adult roller coaster ride.

To get this photo I went onto photos for class and then searched for what photo I would like then downloaded it to my computer. The good thing about Photos for class is that you are allowed to use it when you are under the age of thirteen with supervision, plus there is no sign up needed and none of them annoying ads. And You don’t even have to ask for permission to use any of the photos.
